New Orleans Restoration

Before Hurricane Katrina ever made landfall in New Orleans, LA in September of 2005, CCB received a call from the Feil Organization to be on alert and that our help would be needed with their properties once the storm was over.

By the time this 21-story Class A office tower sustained severe damage from Katrina, CCB had already organized supplies, fuel, and man power to set up a base site working in New Orleans.

Assessing the damages sustained to a building of this magnitude was not an easy task. Each floor had to be evaluated and every scope of work needed to be reviewed. Repairs to this landmark later included everything from parking garage repairs, concrete coatings, EIFS repairs, insulation replacement, painting, wallcovering, HVAC, electrical, and the replacement of over 800 windows on the building’s exterior.

CCB was able to aid in this situation because of our working relationship with the client, who fully trusted us as their construction partner. They knew that CCB would be there for them - even in the face of a hurricane aftermath - and we answered the call.
